TechCrunch Disrupt SF 2010 Wrapup

Couldn’t attend TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco last week? Here are the highlights from the conference so that you’re in the know:

  • The winner of the TechCrunch Disrupt Hackathon was a 22-year-old programmer, J’amie Ohm, who built an app called WiseDame that is looking to revolutionize personal security for females (though I think men can use it too). She announced to the crowd that she’s looking for a mentor, and something tells me this whiz-kid will have no problem finding one. Follow her on Twitter: @jaimeohm

  • Google CEO Eric Schmidt revealed that Google is investing in a health question infrastructure. Schmidt said that 3 to 5 percent of queries on Google are health related. TechCrunch’s video of his talk here
