Returning to a Thank You Economy
I just returned from 5-days at SXSW Interactive in Austin, Texas. Gary Vaynerchuk delivered the conference keynote, and was hands-down the best session I attended this year. And I wasn’t the only one inspired and challenged by his talk — the entire room gave him a standing ovation. Here are my notes from the session.

In the News: Interview on ClickZ
Christopher Heine interviewed me last week for a piece on using QR codes in marketing campaigns.  “We’ve really hit a plateau and want to up our numbers on Facebook and Twitter this week,” Dunn said. “We put our Facebook page URL on the [print] materials as well for people who are not familiar with QR codes.” Read the full article at ClickZ.

We just went live with the final episode of a 5-part video series on the gulf oil spill. It’s been a true honor to produce this series alongside oceans expert and adventurer Jon Bowermaster. Video footage was excerpted from his documentary film SoLa: Louisiana Water Stories. All five videos are available over at HuffPost.

From JD Lasica at Socialbrite: The single most difficult issue that those of us in the social change movement confront is: figuring out how to get people to take action. So I’ve been paying close attention over the months to the successful efforts of TakePart, an initiative of Participant Media. I recently ran into Adriana Dunn, editor of the TakePart blog, and caught some of her thoughts about...
